Service requirements

• For Windows (2000, XP): Internet Explorer 5.5 SP1 or later is recommended.
• For Macintosh (X): Internet Explorer 5 or later is recommended.

• In order to use this service, you must accept the cocoa GIGA STORAGE Terms of Use (the cocoa GIGA STORAGE for OCN Terms of Use in the case of OCN subscribers or customers who wish to sign up for OCN together with this service) when signing up for the service.
• After you have signed up for the service, we will provide you with an ID and password for using the service.
• Our fee charging policy
  For the cocoa GIGA STORAGE service, you will receive free service for the month you sign up and the following month. A service fee will be charged from two months after you sign up (and you will be charged the full monthly fee for the month you cancel the service).
  For the cocoa GIGA STORAGE for OCN service, your service fee will be calculated on a pro-rata daily basis (i.e. the service fee is calculated by dividing the monthly service fee by the days in a month and then multiplying that amount by the number of days from the sign-up date to the end of the month) for the month you sign up (and also for the month you cancel the service).

Group Plus

• You do not need to sign up for the Group Plus feature. If you create a group and add one or more members to that group, the group administrator will be granted 10MB of disk space as a bonus. However, even if you create multiple groups, the maximum disk space you will receive is 10 MB.
• For groups created on October 5, 2003 or earlier, the bonus disk space will be granted if a new member is added to the group.

cocoa Discount

• This discount is not applicable to customers signing up for the cocoa GIGA STORAGE for OCN service.
• Sign-up is required in order to receive the cocoa Discount. In order to receive a discount, the service fees for the cocoa GIGA STORAGE accounts which qualify for the discount must be paid by the same party.
• In order to receive a discount, the optional service fees for the cocoa GIGA STORAGE accounts that qualify for the discount must be paid together in a single payment.
• The cocoa Discount is not applicable to cocoa GIGA STORAGE accounts covered by the WIDE Plan or the OPEN Plan.
• The discount will be applied from the month following the month you sign up for the cocoa Discount.
• The cocoa Discount will automatically be applied if you sign up for multiple cocoa GIGA STORAGE accounts at the same time, or if you sign up for multiple cocoa GIGA STORAGE accounts exceeding the number covered by the WIDE Plan at the same time.
• The billing address and the subscriber address must be the same. However, cocoa GIGA STORAGE service contracts can be established under different names.
• Regardless of the sign-up date, the service fee for each cocoa GIGA STORAGE service contract will be calculated after accounting for the free service period from the sign-up date.
• Regardless of the free service period, a discount will be applied based on the number of cocoa GIGA STORAGE service contracts purchased.

cocoa GIGA STORAGE Metered Hot Spot Access service (OPEN Plan/Light)

• This service is not applicable to customers signing up for the cocoa GIGA STORAGE for OCN service.
• Please verify the Hot spot service areas before signing up for the service. (http://www.hotspot.ne.jp/en/).
• To use this service, you will need a wireless LAN device (including PC built-in devices) compatible with IEEE802.11b (Wi-Fi certified) and IEEE802.11a standards.
• The fee calculation period is from the 1st to the end of each month. The monthly service fee (flat-rate fee) for the service start month will be free. A communication fee will be charged from the service start month. If you cancel the service, you will be charged a monthly service fee (flat-rate) and a communication fee for the month you cancel the service. If you start using the service mid-month or if you cancel the service mid-month, the service fee will NOT be calculated on a pro-rata daily basis.
• The initial contract fee is free.

cocoa Mobile Photorage (Mobile/Plus)

• Only customers using a cellular terminal which supports the cocoa Mobile Photorage application will be able to sign up for the service.
• The storage space used for the cocoa Mobile Photorage service is the same storage space used for the cocoa GIGA STORAGE service (i.e. 2GB of shared space).
• The service fee for this optional service will be charged from the service start month until the month you request to cancel the service. If you start using the service mid-month or if you cancel the service mid-month, the service fee will NOT be calculated on a pro-rata daily basis.
• In order to use this service you must accept both the cocoa GIGA STORAGE Terms of Use and the cocoa Mobile Photorage Application Terms of Use.
